Survivors Stories
We believe that those who are survivors of rape/sexual abuse/sexual assault have stories that need to be heard. This may help in a variety of ways:
- getting stories out there may help in the healing process.
- it may encourage others to come forward and seek help.
- survivors stories may make other members of society realise the long term harm sexual assault causes,to many people.
- it may also be encouraging for people to hear that those who have been sexually abused, can heal, and lead positive and enriching lives.
These stories are published in the same form they were written and received at The Monarch Centre.
We honour the courage of those who have shared their stories.
